First time in Tabarca Island, Spain

Weeks ago I discovered at Google Maps a little island near Santa Pola City in Alicante Province, Spain.
It is "Tabarca Island", an incredible place at The Mediterranean Sea with a lot of history.

I decided to visit the place going to Santa Pola City by car and then by ferry.
In fact, the easiest way to reach the island is like I did.
At the island there is a little town with clothes shops, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, hostels...
There are all the services you will need.

The town is surrounded by an ancient city walls. There is no vehicles, so you can take a very relaxing walk there.
The beaches are very beautiful. It was the first time in my life in a grey sand beach.

Don't miss Tabarca's lighthouse. The only way to go there is walking, but is a nice walk with great views.
